Facebook adds married icons for Gay users

Facebook has now made it simple to announce same-sex marriages on the social networking site by rolling out two new icons analogous to the ones heterosexual couples have long used.

Facebook has offered two timeline icons that show two little grooms and two little brides, to represent gay marriage.

Earlier, anybody who got married and announced it on Facebook would find the declaration noted under the icon of a little bride and little groom 'cake topper', regardless of whether the wedding was between a man and a woman or two women or two men.

The new icons had a major debut over the weekend, after a pair of small grooms appeared over the wedding announcement of Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes to his longtime boyfriend Sean Eldridge, The Los Angles Times reports.

According to the report, the new move has received a positive response from the social network's users.

Almost 2,000 people, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, hit the like button on the announcement.

Marilyn Monroe voted cleavage queen

Marilyn Monroe, even after 50 years of her death, beat actresses including Scarlett Johansson, Mad Men's Christina Hendricks and Sophia Loren to be crowned as the woman with the best bust of all time.

The actress - who appeared in 1950s comedies including 'Some Like It Hot' and 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' - was closely trailed in the cleavage league table by TV presenter and host of the show 'This Morning', Holly Willoughby, often lovingly nicknamed Holly Willoughbooby.

British actress and model Elizabeth Hurley came third, followed in fourth place by voluptuous Kelly Brook, who recently designed a New Look clothing line for women with more realistic figures.

Italian septuagenarian and screen Icon Sophia Loren came fifth on the list, with Vicky Christina Barcelona star Johansson, Hendricks and singer Beyonce placed sixth, seventh and eighth respectively.

The poll was collated by high street retailer Debenhams in wake of the realisation that over half of their female customers wear a bra size DD or higher.

The shop asked 1,000 customers, both male and female - all of whom were shopping in their fuller-bust lingerie range, Gorgeous - which famous female they thought had the best cleavage.

"If you've got it flaunt it, but reveal your assets appropriately," the Daily Mail quoted Sharon Webb, Head of Lingerie Buying and Design for Debenhams as saying.

"It's no surprise that Marilyn was voted number one; she clearly wore well fitting bras and never made a boob of herself; she knew how much decolletage to bear.

"For most women, there is nothing that says fashion disaster like a bra that doesn't fit properly and if you're blessed with a fuller chest and not so keen on the beach ball bust trend, then this can be a challenge," she said.

Pals Gwyneth Paltrow and AMANDA DeCADENET giggled about their past sex adventures during a candid TV chat which aired in America on Thursday (21Jun12) after the actress accused the host of having sex with everyone.

Paltrow was talking about finding her true sexuality in a committed relationship when former wildchild DeCadenet agreed that flings and one-night stands are rarely satisfying.

The actress said, "You don't find it (sexuality) (in a one-night stand); it has to be a longer-term situation, where you're completely safe and that's when it starts to reveal itself".

Yes, she would have the occasional drink. And I knew she was taking painkillers and the anxiety drug Xanax. But I never suspected she was using hard drugs.

"It really shocked me when I found that out. And actually it made me quite mad because I thought, 'Whitney, you had us all fooled.' Everyone thought Whitney was in a good place and we never imagined anything like this was going to happen."

However, Raffles said 48-year-old Whitney - who had been using cocaine at the time of death - had a premonition she was going to die.

He told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "But looking back, Whitney seemed to have a premonition about her death. She started carrying a Bible around everywhere she went and would read from it all the time.

"Also, she kept talking about 'leaving' America. I thought she meant she was going to Switzerland, where she had talked about living, but now I realise she meant she was leaving this world."

Cheryl Cole has revealed that she is always being accused of breaking wind in flight, as people think she's too famous to bother holding it in.

The Girls Aloud star said that travellers letting off bad smells on planes is one of her major disgusts.

"I always look around and try to work out who it was and I see the eyes staring back at me," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"I know they're thinking, 'Cheryl Cole thinks it's OK to fart on a plane as she's special,' and it's so not true," she said.

She has called for somebody to invent a spray to corner the culprits.

"There should be a sort of aerosol that can be sprayed into the air and it would pinpoint the guilty person.

"You can get a similar thing to go into swimming pools to discourage people from peeing. I think it would be a winner on a long flight," she added.

Madonna may face lawsuit in France over Nazi symbol

France's National Front party has threatened to sue American pop diva Madonna over the use of Nazi swastika in depiction of party leader Marine Le Pen.

Madonna kicked off her MDNA Tour in Israel's Tel Aviv last Thursday to promote her new album as well as peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

An image of Le Pen with a swastika on her forehead appeared on a giant screen during the concert, France 3 television reported.

Officials from the National Front, which has frequently been linked with anti-Semitism and racism but won a fifth of the popular vote during the first round of presidential elections in April, said Madonna had offended all of its members and supporters.

Le Pen, who has toned down the party's extremist views since taking over the leadership from her notorious father last year, commented on Madonna's provocative stunt by saying: "We understand how old singers who need to get people talking about them go to such extremes."

Her deputy, Louis Aliot, was more blunt, stating that the party will look into the possibility of filing a law suit against Madonna if she repeats her stunt during a concert in France.

Madonna, who turns 54 in August, will stage a concert at the Stade de France in Paris July 14 when France celebrates Bastille Day, which marks the end of the French monarchy and the beginning of the French Revolution.

Divorce Hotel: 'Untie the knot' overnight!

A hotel in The Netherlands that offers quick and cheap divorce is proving popular among couples who are desperate to end their marriage.

The 'Divorce Hotel' helps husbands and wives to arrange all the necessary legal documentation to end their marriage over the course of just two days.

They meet a mediator and series of lawyers behind closed doors who will split assets, agree alimony payments and arrange visitation rights - all for a fixed fee, News.com.au reported.

Entrepreneur Jim Halfens behind the concept said he spotted a gap in the market in a country where the average divorce can easily run into five figures and take months to complete.

"When they leave the hotel, all work is done," Halfens told Sky News.

"The only thing that happens then in Dutch law is that they have to show the agreement to a judge in the Netherlands and that takes a couple of weeks.

"They walk divorced out of this door and to make it official takes a couple of weeks," he stated.

He uses a number of high-end boutique hotels around the country, including the smart Carlton Ambassador Hotel in The Hague.

Sales manager Ninke Bons explains that the couples, who often check in together, but mostly choose to stay in separate rooms, are handled with care by the staff.

"We treat them as any other guests, we just try to keep a closer eye on them or make sure they are not wandering around by themselves," she said.

"Just as an example - we would normally inquire if a guest enjoyed their stay at the hotel. Well, obviously that's not very appropriate in the case of the 'Divorce Hotel," she added.

Couples have to apply to use the process and are rigorously screened by the divorce hotel legal team. If the husband and wives are squabbling, or barely on speaking terms, they are deemed unsuitable for the process.

The concept is thought to be perfect for TV and the multi-Emmy Award winning Base Productions is pitching a series to television networks in the US, and several are said to be interested.

Producer Mickey Stern says rather than a reality TV show - a genre born in the Netherlands - they are proposing a high-gloss documentary series examining couples as they go through the process and how conflicts are resolved as the spoils are divided.

The pop superstar will take to the stage for the half-time concert during the big game in Indianapolis, Indiana on Sunday (05Feb12) and she has been hard at work this week (beg30Jan12) putting the final touches to heract.

She reportedly thanked her staff for their dedication on Wednesday by placing a massive order with a local Papa John's fast food eaterie, askingfor 50 pizzas for all her workers, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports the bill came to more than $500 (?312), but restaurant staff gave the Material Girl a discount.

Miley Cyrus has come under fire from conservative campaigners in America after she was photographed posing suggestively with a phallic birthday cake.

The former child star hit headlines this week (beg23Jan12) after pictures from her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth's 22nd birthday party emerged online.

The snaps showed Cyrus simulating oral sex with Hemsworth's penis-shaped chocolate cake, and the pictures have infuriated activists at the Culture and Media Institute (CMI) who claim the singer actress could have a negative influence on easily-swayed teens.

A statement from the CMI, obtained by GossipCop.com, also condemns saucy new comedy movie The Bachelorette, which stars Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan and Isla Fisher as three foul-mouthed females attending a friend's pre-wedding party.

The statement reads, "Movies like Bachelorette and disgusting behavior like Cyrus' may be part of the 'real world' of Hollywood, where casual sex is celebrated and frequent divorce is almost a rite of passage. But it is not the real world, because in the real world, sleazy behavior has consequences".

Gisele Bundchen is set to become the world's first billionaire model as her lingerie brand goes global.

Launched last May, the Gisele Bundchen Brazilian Intimates range has proved popular in Latin America, Portugal, Japan, and Israel and now further expansion is expected.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel premiered her collection, for Brazilian company Hope, in Sao Paulo last May, the Daily Mail reported.

Stepping onto the catwalk the wife of NFL star Tom Brady, showcased various designs featuring blush pink and black satin, tassels and lace.

After the 40-piece collection hit stores across Brazil the fashion retailer Hope reported a 40 per cent increase in turnover.

Now, the range is expected to be a hit with shoppers worldwide.

And with her products endorsements and business ventures earning a total of 29 million pounds last year, Bundchen is now believed to be on track to becoming the world's first billionaire supermodel.

Courtney Love's Court Battle Over Home to Continue

Courtney Love's legal battle over her New York apartment is far from overas her landlady will continue to pursue the star for allegedly making alterations to the property without permission.

The Hole rocker was taken to court over her rented Manhattan apartment by the building's owner Donna Lyon, who sued the singer, claiming she owed more than $50,000 (?31,250) in back rent.

A judge dismissed the case on Thursday (19Jan12) and Love won the right to stay in her home, but a lawyer representing Lyon insists his client will continue to pursue a separate legal action which alleges the star redecorated without permission.

Lyon's attorney Norman Flitt tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "The alteration dispute was not part of the rent case and remains unresolved".

A source also tells the publication Love plans to leave the apartment when her lease expires on 14 February (12).

Jessica Alba thinks Beyonce should sell baby pictures

Jessica Alba has advised Beyonce Knowles to sell the first pictures of newborn daughter Ivy Blue and put the money into a trust fund for the tot.

The stunning actress and her husband Cash Warren reportedly received $1.5 million from OK! magazine for the first images of their daughter, Honor, in 2008, and she thinks Beyonce and spouse Jay-Z should do the same with their new addition.

She told CNN's A.J. Hammer: "For our family, we just wanted to control the experience. We put the money that the picture made into a bank account for Honor to do whatever she wants to do with. It's her picture, it's her birth, and we didn't want it to be like a weird thing when we were walking out of the house for the first time."

"If there's a price tag on your child - which is so bizarre - people will go to crazy lengths. We wanted to avoid that hysteria."

Jessica - who welcomed second daughter, Haven, into the world last August - said she really enjoyed the photo shoot and would definitely recommend it.

Earlier today, Beyonce's former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland also paid tribute to Etta, after she died at the age of 73 following a battle with leukaemia.

She tweeted: "CLASSIC. ONE OF A KIND. PURE SOUL. ETTA JAMES! Thank You for gracing us with your incredible talent & presence! (sic)"

Etta had been diagnosed with leukaemia in 2010, according to her long time friend and manager, Lupe De Leon, and died in hospital in Riverside, California.

Fabled female G-spot 'may not exist at all'

The elusive female G-spot may not actually exist at all, according to scientists.

After reviewing 100 studies conducted over the past 60 years, experts have concluded that there is no evidence for the fabled centre of female sexual pleasure after all.

Amichai Kilchevsky, a urologist from the Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut and the research leader, blamed pornography, magazines and sex therapists for ruthlessly promoting the idea.

While he admitted the concept merited further attention and that "modern investigative techniques" might help, he said he hoped his conclusion would take the pressure off couples who had not located it.

"Objective measures have failed to provide strong and consistent evidence for the existence of an anatomical site that could be related to the famed G-spot," the Daily Mail quoted Kilchevsky as saying.

His findings support those of researchers from King's College London, who questioned 1,800 women in one of the largest studies on the subject and concluded that there was no evidence for the existence of the G-spot.

The British team suggested in 2010 that the idea made both men and women feel inadequate about their sex lives.

The G-spot is said to be a small area of the female body where nerve endings are concentrated, with the capability to provide intense pleasure.

A separate study in 2008, which used ultrasound imaging to look at the vaginal wall, said women who reported having orgasms had thicker tissue around what is considered the G-spot area than women who didn't.

However, Kilchevsky's team said other imaging studies couldn't confirm this.

He added that results from tissue biopsies were inconclusive, with some studies reporting more nerve endings in the "G-spot area", while others found fewer in the same place.

"Lots of women feel almost as though it is their fault they can't find it," Kilchevsky said.

"The reality is that it is probably not something, historically or evolutionarily, that should even exist," Kilchevsky added.

The study has been published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.
